It is my belief that therapy is a mutual endeavor in which clients and therapists work together to explore healthy ways of coping with life stressors, environmental influences, and relationships that impact functioning and well being. Having worked in a myriad of settings, I am familiar with the sensitive issues and challenges associated with depression, anxiety, gender identify, substance use and/or traumatic history for both teens and adults. By utilizing an eclectic approach to therapy, you will be supported in the pursuit of your individual needs and will be met with unconditional positive regard.
By drawing on a variety of theoretical frameworks and therapeutic techniques, which include CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing, I work alongside my clients /teens to help them identify and overcome potential barriers that impact wellness. Helping individuals gain access to their intuitive wisdom is a primary focus of my work with clients.
During our work together you will find that I practice a strengths-based approach and align with the belief that each individual has an innate capacity for growth and healing.
